I think Fuller was interesting, but I think he took the IDW way too seriously. Fuller interviewed both Weinstein's multiple times about it. No one else aligned themselves to the IDW, it was a very broad collection of people talking to each other. No it hasn't. Former soviet countries are still benefiting today from all the infrastructure that was built (rapidly) in those times, from gender equality norms in the workplace and a lot of other worker benefits enshrined in labor laws etc. Plus look at China's meteoric rise in productivity and scientific research AND rapidly 'greening' economy, with the fastest deployment of renewables in the world and the fastest switch to electric energy usage out of the total energy used in the economy. Big big mistake to not tell people socialism has already proven to be a massive success on the purely economic side.
